Katana

Engine:

1982 Suzuki Katana 1100, flowed/ ported/ skimmed head, oversize valves, 12.25:1 compression ratio, Wiseco 1260 kit, Kent cams, h/d crank case studs throughout, GSX-R750L carbs with Dynojet, K&N air filters, welded crank, Goodridge clutch plates in billet basket, pre-loaded springs, Dyna coils, Taylor leads, Dyna S ignition, Eagle exhaust system, Yoshimura can.

133bhp & 91ft/lb torque.

Frame:

1982 Suzuki Katana 1100, braced by Performoto, subframe by Mild to be Wild, Yamaha EXuP footrests & hangers.

Front End:

Suzuki GSX-R1100J forks & yokes, spoked 120x3.5" wheel with Performoto hub, ISR discs, GSX-R Slingshot calipers, Performoto caliper mounts & fork brace, drag bars, GSX-R master cylinder/ switchgear, original clocks/ instument surround.

Rear End:

Honda NSR-250 swinging arm converted to twin-shock, Ohlins shocks, 170x5.5 spoked wheel with GS750 hub, 180 tyre, Fireblade disc, GSX-R caliper, ZXR hanger, Ducati 916 master cylinder, custom sprocket spacer & mounts (offset front sprocket).

Bodywork:

Suzuki GSX-R1100J front mudguard, Katana fairing, sidepanels & petrol tank, Cagiva Mito tailpiece, one-off seat.

Paint:

Blue/ silver & pearl lacquer by Keith at Khameleon.

Engineering:

Almost everything modified by Performoto, Mild to be Wild, various mates & owner.  Complete custom re-wire, GSX-R1100 sealed MF battery, remote ignition.
