Katana

Engine:

Suzuki GSX1100 with 1260cc Cosworth conversion, running oversize Kawasaki ZZR1100 pistons, heads skimmed and flowed, 1mm oversize exhaust valves, Yoshimura cams, 36mm Mikuni flatsides, S&B filters, exhaust fabricated by Paul Yearsley and owner, GSXR ignition, Dyna coils, Taylor leads.

Frame:

Three inches cut from rear of frame, rear braced and raised two inches by owner.

Front End:

Suzuki RGV250 forks, Kawasaki ZXR750 yokes machined and shimmed to take forks, headstock spindle machined and pressed into yokes to take standard bearings, Rentec drag bar conversion, raisers by PJY, ZXR750H2 wheel, ZXR750HI discs, RGV250 brake calipers, brackets fabricated by PJY, RGV250 mudguard.

Rear End:

Koni Dial-a-Rides, JMC braced swingarm, ZXR750L2 wheel, ZXR750L2 disc, homemade torque arm.

Bodywork:

Seat scalloped and shortened, tailpiece modified to match altered frame.

Paint:

Awaiting trick paint job - open to offers.

Engineering:

Yamaha RD350LC footplates with BMX trick pegs from Halfords, spindles, spacers, rear mudguard, rear caliper mounting bracket, rear brake lever, catch bottle, grab rail, clock brackets, number plate bracket, card heat shield faricated by owner and Paul Yearsley, sprocket carrier machined to set rear sprocket in by 10mm, spacer made to align gear box sprocket and chain gear linkage modified by owner and Paul Yearsley.
