Is this guy God or just a damn good impersonation. Mark at A&H has confirmed to me that there are still some genuinely nice guys left in the trade. During the past three years he has been responsible for the majority of the rebuild of the bike. This job demanded top drawer skills and an unrivalled attention to detail, which Mark supplied in spades. There doesn't seem to be anything he can't do or get done and as Jack Palance would have said "He's my No.1 guy". I believe he is also the only performance centre recommended by the UK CBX owners club.

RD Cox & Son have been responsible for most of the blasting/spraying of the bike to date. They are situated about 3 minutes from junction 11 of the M4. Of particular interest is their vapour blasting which uses a water based slurry and produces a fine, corrosion resistant finish on aluminium surfaces. Believe me; once you start using these guys you may as well just put the whole bike through their shop. They even do carbs, but be prepared to spend plenty of time and money flushing the residue out afterwards. Halford's stock an excellent carb cleaning spray by Wynns ;-)

At the end of every project you are always left with a few little problems which seem nearly impossible to solve. Chief amongst mine was the seat which had been badly cut down originally then further trimmed to suit the new tail unit. The seat needed reworking at the front, reshaping to fit the tail piece and then covering. After months of searching for someone with impecable skills I eventually stumbled across Eric at Trimmania almost on my own doorstep. Eric did all the necessary work at very short notice, recovering the seat in suade & leather (vinyl would have been a travesty after all this work) and I couldn't possibly praise his work highly enough.

Dynotech will take on pretty much anything in the way of engine tuning from a simple once over through Blueprinting to the full on Turbo Nitrous monster. Their many racing successes are testament to their abilities and commitment to the sport. Andy and Keith use a Dynojet model 200 Dyno with full exhaust gas analysis, you can stand and watch your pride and joy taken full bore to the redline and back (several times) then leave clutching that much cherished proof of your bikes credentials.
